I believe because Brown & Sharpe is a major manufacture in the United States, with thousands of systems in use, any comments about them, good or bad should be heard on this community. Their impact on the cmm community is staggering.

Brown & Sharpe has a strong technical base and is adept at applying it in the cmm market. I feel most of their problems are internal dating back decades. I am sure you can find many who will debate me on the this, however debate wont solve their problems now.

As for CMM Pro, I feel his tactics are no different that Brown & Sharpe. Please refer to B&S Field Service Engineer comment about 3rd party calibrations under Brown & Sharpe.
