I don't know the exact date, but it is between July 1 and July 12. The Dayton Daily News reported that they would cease all manufacturing ops by mid-September. They will maintain a small marketing and service operation. The auction I think was held in May. As noted, Discovery has always been built in WI. The rumor mill says that the Apollo and Horizon machines will be farmed out for manufacturing and/or assembly, if not sold outright. Although Sheffield is not the player they was were, they will be around for quite a while yet. And as noted, there is a lot of Sheffield experience out there - at other OEMs and at third parties.
