John:
You need to have the stalls defined as well as the changer aligned. To align the changer run calibtip.dmi and follow the commands exactly. Before you run it change the section in c:windows\lkcmm.lis at the line where it says SCR200 installed to "NO". Save the text file. Run the program. Exit and restart DMIS. Create a new program and define the six stalls like this:
S(T1)=SNSDEF/NONE,INDEX,POL,0,0
S(T2)=SNSDEF/NONE,INDEX,POL,0,0
S(T3)=SNSDEF/NONE,INDEX,POL,0,0
S(T4)=SNSDEF/NONE,INDEX,POL,0,0
S(T5)=SNSDEF/NONE,INDEX,POL,0,0
S(T6)=SNSDEF/NONE,INDEX,POL,0,0
In the CMM pull down menu select tip change. Press reset then set and select the stall number you have on the TP200. Issue the SNSLCT command to grab either of the tips listed above (ie. SNSLCT/S(T1)). It is best to have the above in your template file and external files for the definition of probes you want to use. I would test it the first time in slow with one hand on the e-stop to be 100% certain you do not crash. If you see it works fine the first time it will be ok to run the next ones in fast. If this is not clear enough contact me via e-mail with your fax number and I can send you a document Keith Morton sent me that gives very specific instructions for the entire process of tip changer alignment, tip changer commands and ideas/suggestions for templates and probe definition files. Best of luck!
