Hi there,

I am calculating the gauge to tolerance ratio to verify one of our CMM's accuracy to measure a part. All the CMM accuracy expressions (Linear & Volumetric) from the CMM manufacturers are expressed in terms of linear values. I have to use a true position tolerance which is not a linear value. How do I convert a true position tolerance into a linear value in order to calculate the gauge to tolerance ratio? Thanks in advance for your responses.
