The simple way is to divide the True Position value in half. The TP is 2 times the radial error from a Basic location. So if the TP was 0.010", then it is only 0.005" away from the Basic location, in any possible direction.

Another way is if you have a CMM X error of ±0.0003, and a CMM Y error of ±0.0004, you have a Possible True-positional CMM error of 0.0005 radius, or TP of 0.0010", then you can compare directly to the B/P TP callout.
