When you say calculate, I assume you mean manually. Pythagorean calculations here, take your x cartesian coordinate & your y cartesian coordinate & use the x/2 + y/2=2/r
Sorry for the bad typing. [a] squared + [b]
squared is equal to [c] squared. IE: x error=
.20mm y error =.30mm answer is .360555 ect.
but that is only the rad of your true position diameter, don`t forget to double it !!!!! therefore .72111 is the true position diameter. Let`s say the tolerance was .50mm true position diameter.....but at mmc & your bonus tolerance calculated out to .23mm.
Then , your allowable diameter of true position is actually .73mm & you are in tolerance !! Easy as that....I would be surprised if Zeiss didn`t have these calculations!! Look up or call for support....if you need any more help on G.D. & T. , don`t hesitate to email me.....Jim
