You have a tough job ahead of you. I've been working w/ CMMs since about 1970 & have used and/or bought just about everything out there in terms of machine brands. Best vs. worst is strictly a matter of opinion altho there are some out there you couldn't pay me to use. I currently do training & applications support on major brands & what I typically find is that you generally (but not always) get what you pay for. The one thing you really have to look at is the software - how easy is it to use, how easy is it to edit, what will it really do (not sales blather) & how well is it supported.
