In the cad world, dxf and iges files are like cats there are tons of different versions. There is, however, a way around problem dxf files imported into Usoft.
The way around this is to make a drawing in Usoft by importing the dxf file:
1)F6- part prog. management
2)F5- part Dwg. management
3)F1- Import Profile
Then import the dxf profile
4)save drawing to program number zero picture number 1
5)then go to digitizing and create the profile by converting drawing

This should work just fine as a way around importing bad DXF files into usoft for profiles.
