I can't believe that we didn't suggest it earlier. A class is a must in this area. Terry is absolutely correct. All of us that suggested books more than likely had some type of classroom training. If you are unable to spend the money on an ASME certified instructor, consider a local college that may offer classes on the subject. No matter what though, do your homework on the instructor, their are instructors out there who aren't certified by ASME. Most of them are people that have worked in the various industries applying G.D.& T. Make sure that you feel your instructor is able to correctly train you.
