Take a look at the PCDMIS software offered by Brown & Sharpe. The company I work for has had some good success with this product, using it to gather data on old product line castings created in the fifties and sending it to a UG work station for our engineers to create 3D models. I don't know if the data can go directly to CADKEY but it does output IGES and several other formats and the software is really easy for an operator to learn and work with. A word of warning. I would stay away from anything using a VALYSIS interface. Unless you have operators who are HIGHLY trained in CAD, CMMs, and various fields of engineering VALYSIS is USELESS!!! We spent 15 months working with it and never could get the desired results. The sad fact is that whenever we had support come in from VALYSIS they couldn't get it to do what we wanted either.
