Hi Larry,
I believe the only book for USOFT is the manual that comes with the software. If possible, you should look into upgrading to at least the version 9.03 or the latest version 9.04. They are much better than 8.53 and a little more user friendly. I would recommend you contact Zeiss and get a schedule and location for the beginning USOFT classes. There are also some other companies that provide training depending on where you are located. Good Luck!
