Ok Gentlemen: I am responsible for all programming two new Starrett CMMs using Apogee Level IV software. I run on Windows NT but it will run just as well on Windows 95 or 98. I spend 10 hours a day studying all the capabilities and features. I am hooked! The graphics is extremely detailed and allows for complete control when building feature measurements. It is very easy to program. The working secession allows a feature Cad file to be generated and quick alignment to the piece part. Once aligned DCC control on the fly is very easy! I especially enjoy building a program on one machine, moving the working secession and program to the NT server, walking to the second CMM and running the same program with NO program changes! Do it all the time! Given a drawing and a sample part,I can define a cad file and a full DCC automatic program to be e-mailed to anyone that is using the same APOGEE Level IV software! Load and run with no adjustments! IGES files can be imported and aligned quickly and easily! I am happy to answer any technical questions. BCF-Quality Engineer
