Welcome to the world of PCDW! Once you get comfortable with it, you may feel that it's the best CMM software available. Let go of that Zeiss stuff and be open-minded to the differences. As with any package, they're still working out some of the wrinkles in the latest version. Don't let that throw you off...

As far as your staging concern - Have you tried two-sided carpet tape? I use it quite a bit for rubber and plastic parts, and it seems to work well.
