I am fairly new to programming. I've taken the Zeiss authorized basic programming course in U-Soft(ver. 9.04) but I am in need of some of the advanced features already. My instructor while very knowledgeable, is a very stay in the known lines type of person. I on the other hand have a very strong tendency to try the areas outside of the lines if I might help further my projects.

I have tried some of the offline programming techniques as described in the manual. My latest endeavor did not do so well. My program is designed to measure a cylinder and then recall it for use in 3D alignment. Unfortunately the program is not aligning the axis properly when run on an actual part. The same program actually written to a part works just fine. Any ideas what I might have done wrong?
