We have a manual CMM and have been trying to utilize "Reverse Engineering" on some contoured bonding tools and some complicated machined parts. We are just starting to use this function and would
appreciate any helpful suggestions. Also, anyone using the scan mode on a manual machine, how does that work, as far as sending the file back to your CAD/CATIA
programming department? We seem to be having problems making surfaces out of all the collected points?
