Thanks for the replies. Maybe I didn't explain the situation enough. When we purchased Silma two years ago (I was not here), it was purchased without a specific model of CMM to program. I was told by Silma that a model of the CMM cannot be constructed by myself, but must be produced by Silma for a cost of $5000. From the story I received, Silma has never produced a model of an IMS CMM (so there maybe difficulties with that).

Bottom line…
I was trying to justify putting an additional $5000 on a software package that may or may not benefit us.
