Personally, I disagree with Scott. As a neophyte to U-Soft in December, I found the Zeiss manual to be poorly written if it is intended to be a self-training manual.

I already had the hang of programming 3 (2 self taught) other inspection machines including an old Mitutoyo CMM.

Once I took the basic class, the Zeiss manual made sense though I am still having troubles with the advanced functions such as offline programming. If you know and understand U-Soft it is a good reference document. If you do not know CMM's and want to get the fastest bang for your buck, make time! It will be worth it. I wish we had picked up our machine years ago!!
