When the AX, N1, AF,P1 and AF,P2 commands are used Cmes remembers the primary and secondary axes created by them.
When the AF,P3 command is issued any Axis/Plane parameter supplied is irrelevant.
The AF,P3 command should not be issued with an Axis/Plane parameter. If one is supplied, then I believe Cmes ignores it.
Example...
UG,1,3\AF,P1,Z
UP,4,5\AF,P2,X
UP,6\AF,P3
The AF,P3 command generates the 3rd Y plane at right angles to Z and X.
