Donald,

Giddings latest software is based in
Windows 95 and is called MeasureMax.
Just taking the leap out of OS-2 is a big
advantage over Direct-Inspect. Editing is
much faster and easier, and the latest version
also offers some great toys as well. I have
been using G&L systems for about 20 years and
this is by far the easiest they have ever had. Although the system is based in Visual Basic 6.0, you don't need to know VB to use it. As far as DCC is concerned, the thing to remember is that the system moves in coordinates relative to the current x,y, and z origin. I'm not sure where you are located, but you can give me a call at 262-781-0720 and maybe I can answer some questions that you may have.
