I am trying to use a TP-200 touch probe (standard force module) with a 6mm X 90mm long graphite/ruby stylus (6mm X 50mm with a 40mm extension). I am concerned about the accuracy at that length.

When I look at the Renishaw specification you get unidirectional repeatability, 2D & 3D form measurement deviations, overtravel force (at 50mm) all at some metric symbols that don’t tell a country boy from Texas a damn thing. How do I calculate or find the “REAL ACCURACY” that I can assure my measurement to?
