Our company is considering the purchase of a ScanMax to place on the shop floor for in-process checks. It will be operated by people in the manufacturing cells in a high production environment. It will primarily be used for checking diameter sizes, concentricities, and some step dimensions. I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience in a similar situation who could advise on durability, usability, or any pros or cons with these machines.
