Hello Mark, I am surprised that nobody has answered to your post because that means that there are very few QUINDOS users out there.

I work at Solar Turbines were we have several Leitz and DEA machines all using QUINDOS. This software and the Leitz machines may be the best machines out there but they are also the most difficult to use. QUINDOS which is much more popular in Europe than in the US is closer to a programming language than to a machine interface. I would advise you to take some training classes either at B&S or better call Ed Reese at metrologypro.com.
