We currently use both WinCMES and LK-DMIS for CMM programming. We have not fully implemented the LK-DMIS for operators to use. We are using DMIS for an advanced program that only 3D models are available, it is used in conjunction with Silma.
Yes! We would like to translate programs over to DMIS, however I don't think that it would be cost efficient. The one thing that I have found out is that every other month a new software rev. comes out and the cost of each one for each of the different systems is astronomical.
