Al,

DI 1100 "Collecting Points in a File" will export in VDA format however the data in probe center.

DI 1166 "Data Transfer in VDA Format" is called to export the file generated with DI 1100.

I do not know of a way to get the contact point or surface data out in UMESS UX. You can if you export to KUM UX and generate a 2D normal. If you have a nominal VDA file you can generate 3D information (deviations) in KUM UX.
