Matthew:
I am assuming you have a PH 9 or 10. First, check all of the cables to make sure nothing came loose or split and check the touch probe. If this doesn't work, restart the probe head controller by shutting it off for a few seconds and then turning it back on. Check it again. If this doesn't help try re-starting the machine. If still nothing, and you have a spare, try another touch probe. If it works with a different touch probe do a repair by exchange with Renishaw for the damaged one. You should run a check on the machine for probe misalignment, etc. If you notice anything call in a service engineer. You may want to have Renishaw do a re-certification on the probe head. The cost is not too extreme and in most cases they can loan you one while yours is being fixed/checked. I hope this is of some value to you and you get back up-n-running soon. Best of luck!
