I got approved for this expense on the following points.

1.) My boss has attended Bill Tandler's course "Applying GD&T to Coordinate Metrology & Manufacturing Process Control" and he said "Bill warrants the cost".

2.) At a group meeting of this type, it is the time to be able to ask questions about CMM problems, and get answers from people who use the same tools. The mass and knowledge of user's gathered at the same place & time is an opportunity that only happens during functions of this type.

3.) Six of the ten presentations have applications to the work I do everyday.
