We have seen this problem many times on Mitutoyo machines. When the CMM controller issues a probe change command to the probe controller the touch signal is supposed to drop off so that a trigger is not reported during a PH9/PH10 move. We have found that the problem lies within the machine probe cable. We have replaced the section of the probe cable that flexes with the movement of the "Z" shaft. This cable is made in sections and can be replaced in a few hours.
I would not suggest adjusting the touch probe gage force unless you have a gram gage. If you have already adjusted the touch probe and are not sure how to put it back to spec., 4-5 turns clockwise from full counter-clockwise will put you pretty close to 8-grams for TP2 and 12-grams for the TP6.
You can trouble shoot the system yourself if you really want to eliminate the TP2 or TP6. Remove the stylus from the touch probe and try a PH9/10 move. If it still triggers you can eliminate the touch probe as the cause. It is real hard to trigger the touch probe without the weight of a stylus. You can also install a blanking plug in place of the touch probe and rerun the test.
