I, Sunil, a fresh in cmm/metrology field, am planning to attend training 'GD&T APPLIED TO Coordinate METROLOGY' by Multimetrics/Zeiss. I do programming (offline programming using Checkmate) and inspect the plastic-injection molded parts for an auto supplier, since 8/1999. Only training I have so far is
(1).5-day Basic checkmate programming,and
(2).computer based Training on GD&T(called 'The GD&T Trainer' on cd-rom). The second did not help me much as I expected.
With this experience, the training I am planning to take as mentioned above, is appropriate at this time without taking any basic GD&T training.
Please guide me on this.
Also, suggest some good books on the subject.
This is my first interaction/live touch to CMMWORLD.Also,This is a great place for exchanging,passing and learning each others ideas on the same field.
