We have concentrated our efforts on high engineering content and high definition parts, molded in light to medium tonnage equipment (15-750 tons). Our current machines are LK G-90C CMM with LK-DMIS Version 5.11 and Camio Version 2.11 software, MITUTOYO Manual CMM with Geopak 2000 Version 3.2 software, ZEISS ECLIPSE 550 CMM with U-Soft Version 9.04 software

Job Title: LAYOUT SUPERVISOR

SUMMARY
Monitor and control all layout functions performed by the Felton Layout Department. Provide supervision for all Layout Department associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Supervise Layout Technician and equipment operator(s).

Assure timely and accurate completion of all layouts and related layout duties.

Monitor conditions of all Layout Department equipment and tools.

Submit purchase requisitions for all required supplies, tools, and equipment.

Develop and control all departmental work instructions and procedures.

Control and maintain all required departmental reports.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises employee(s) in the Layout Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience as CMM Operator & Programmer

Complete and thorough knowledge of print reading, including G D & T

Compete and thorough knowledge of related inspection equipment

Computer literate

Knowledge of plastic molding preferred

Must be willing to take courses relating to position

Limited travel required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
