Joe - Thanks for the information and insight on how you're currently creating the maps. As soon as I get up to speed with CSI I'm sure they'll prove very useful. I'm also glad to hear that Silma is working to improve this area of the program. I was disappointed today when I noticed that they're not using standard Windows printing methods from inside the software and instead send output to a file. Hopefully this will be remedied, soon.

David Schlitt copied me on the email that he sent you. My apologies to you and David for not realizing the Origin software was modular and had a "stand-alone" module for reporting. I would, however, like to point out that it appears to be running atop AutoCAD (refer to Origin's screen shots) which is the primary reason that I decided to go with the Silma software for offline programming. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this.

David - In response to your email where you said "It is not the intention of Origin to use the CMM Forum for marketing purposes"... I really do appreciate your comments and am glad that you brought this matter to my attention. I have a great deal of respect for Origin and its employees (as well as its products). The on-site demo of Checkmate that we received was excellent and I look forward to any comments or observations that you may have in the future.
