Thanks for website further info about CMM. In fact, I already read it before. But, anyway now I'm trying to create free-form feature of phone handset what I had digitized working on a Brown&Sharpe CMM (MicroXcel). The problem is that the point clouds has not occured nicely. There are some unwanted points.

So my question is how to create a smooth surface from such point clouds under Unigraphic software?

Another question still in my mind is what other softwares are used to digitize parts?
