Here are a few of the problem areas:

1. No graphics available while working in GEOMeasure. Reverse engineering is possible but no ID tags are inserted on measured elements.
This makes it difficult to track measured elements and calculate relationships.
In CADMeasure manual operation is not possible. If the part is dimensionally not correct collision is unavoidable

2. CADMeasure only works with wireframe drawings, solids not supported and surface model did not work in MTI presentation.
Wire frame is difficult to work with since walls are not visible.

3. Probe position is not displayed in real time, each move requires toggling between Mechanical desktop and GEOMeasure. This is unsafe when programming in CADMeasure.

4. CADMeasure seems to be capable of performing best-fit alignment but limited with the wireframe presentation to pick measuring points.

5. Alignment of the CAD model to actual part is very awkward requiring manipulation of the model in Mechanical desktop.

6. Alignment of the CAD model to actual part is very time consuming.
