I have the same problems with my CMM - Zeiss Eclipse. Configuration of the machine is exactly the same as of yours. I have had the problems since 1997 when we bought the machine. Service of Zeiss in Poland hasn`t repaired the machine until now as people responsible for the repair haven`t known what the reason of it's improper work have been. They told me that all the problems with Eclipse were consequences of poor operators' skills which is not true! Moreover, the service in Poland wants to keep it dark that Zeiss hardware is faulty. Zeiss employees are still trying to find any operators' faults, so that not to admit who or what really to blame is.
