1. These ID tags can always be added through the "text" commands in MDT. Are you familiar with the 3d modeling capabilities of MDT? You can build a 3d model and blueprint at the same time.
I don't understand the comment "In CADMeasure manual operation is not possible". It is possible to manually set the desired points.
2. I do not know who did your MTI presentation but CADMeasure works with solids, wireframes, and surface models. In fact all 3 of these examples are included with your software. They are in the GEOMeasure folder / then under the DWG folder. If you would like to program these blocks you would need to switch to an off-line mode unless you have this block in your possession. In GEOMeasure under the CMM pull-down menu select disconnect CMM this will stop the connection to the controller (to re-connect select restart CMM) now any feature selections on the CAD model will not drive the machine.
3. Auto probe position is available it is under CAD / Flag
Change the Delay No. to 2
Changing the Delay No changes the refresh delay. This will tend to slow your machine down for the simple reason it will want to refresh every 2 seconds but this will work.
4. This would be resolved using a solid or surface model.
5.,6. If the model is the "master document" where the co-ordinate system (CS) should not be moved the CS on the part should be made to match the model's CS. However if the model's CS is aircraft or car body position (out in space, and not located on the part at all) the part CS can still be translated to match the model. If you require it on the part then you will have to move the CS on the model and that is done through the MDT UCS flyout toolbar. If you desire to move the origin without changing its orientation, choose the Origin command from the toolbar or from the Assist pull-down menu.
After selecting origin from either one of these methods, hold down the shift button and right-click on the mouse and a snap window will come up; select the desired method. Move the mouse around and a help tool will appear.
