Is it possible to measure free-form shapes in U-Soft (which we currently have on an Eclipse)? We will soon have need of verifying dies for castings. Scanning CMMs and probes, I assume, would be best for this, but are they absolutely necessary? What about an upgrade to Calypso? Can someone who does this please offer suggestions?
