Can anyone suggest and/or provide a source for data concerning number of hits vs tolerance. What I'm looking for is a general guide establishing a relationship between the tolerance of a feature and the number of hits required to accurately measure this feature, be it a hole, profile, etc. I have searched around and have not been able to find such a document. I would think some large co. like GM or Ford would have such a guide. Any and all help is appreciated.
