Do any of you check your PH9, PH10 (etc.) for repeatability and accuracy? I check mine by calibrating the angles on one artifact, then I use another artifact and a DCC program and check each angle. I do it 10 times and use the Range for repeatability and the average deviation for accuracy. The probe length is approx. 125mm from center of the head to center of tip. The angles I use are 0,0; 90,-180; 45, -135; 90,-90; 45,-45; 90,0; 45,45; 90,90; 45,135. I am showing an accuracy of 0.0181mm (0.00071") and a repeatability of 0.0066mm (0.00026"). Does this should like a good way to do it? Any better ideas out there?
