This Conference looks like it could use a little spark!
We're looking at new CMM's and the Merlin has made it to the finals. I've seen the software demo for Virtual DMIS and am pleased with that, the trouble is, there isn't a machine locally to look at. I have had exposure with a 1982 vintage Ferranti many years ago. I'd sure appreciate some opinions on the machine and software and the company itself for service and support. I'm looking for input on the ease of programing for the less-than-expert, handling of IGES surface model imports and any other pro/cons that may have cropped up.
