I'm new to the wonderful and confusing world of DMIS. I've been using the DEA/Tutor combination for four years, bur we just bought a B&S Microval PFX with "PCDMIS", and the folks at "Automation Software Inc." have me believing that they ("Wilcox") have the main handle on the system.

Could anybody give me a breif history of DMIS? Just who ARE the players? Who is ahead?
