Precisely why I don't think "total bandwidth" as described earlier is any kind of measure of acceptability, Terry. As for likening it to "true position", I don't believe that's a good comparison, either. We're talking about 2 different things - profile of a surface (or line) and true position of a hole/fastener. I fail to see the connection (except VERY remotely in a distorted kinda way). Not trying to fuel any fire here, just wanted to add a bit to my earlier post.
