The SETUP that I have has a tab for PART/CMM and an option to DISPLAY ABSOLUTE SPEED, but that is the only speed setting of any kind and it has no effect on my program or machine of any kind. I am not sure, but I think someone at a users group meeting a couple years ago that it would really only effect the animation of the probe on the screen. I am not sure. Do you know about www.pcdmis.com ? It is a users site just for Pcdmis (any machine) and is a pretty good site. You need to 'apply' for a login just like this site, but you might get some more answers there. It is a much more specific site, but the tech guys for Pcdmis kind of monitor it and they might post you a better reply. Have fun
