One of the known faults with Tutor for Windows is that there are memory leaks i.e.
all data stored in RAM is not completely erased when the software is finished with it.
As a result the RAM gets filled over time and causes weird stuff to happen. If you're running only 8MB of RAM this can be a real problem. Best to run 16MB minimum or 32MB if possible. Memory is cheap now so if you can upgrade do.
