Matt,
I seem to take a lot of heat on this board for my opinions, but I have to jump in on this one.
Geomeasure is a software that does work well for SOME people, because of their application.
Pc-Dmis was developed with Cad in mind, it does not require any Autocad and such.
The flexibility of Pc-Dmis and its ease of use will pay off in the long run as well as short term. I will assume the price of Geo is much less than Pc-Dmis.....You get what you pay for. Not to say its a bad software, but for your application with surface points, Pc-dmis will pay off quickly. B & S and DEA are now one company, you would be better off keeping your machine a B & S.....Hope this helps.....Jim
