Welcome Peter,
First of all, also try pc-dmis.com for software related questions.You can definetly report out the features you used to build your alignment, why not ? Maybe someone meant not until after you have the alignment...
I`m not sure what you mean by DF features....I will guess you mean certain dimensions, yes you can choose not to dimension out any measurement. I hope this helps and that we can all help you in the future. cheers, Jim
