Yes, many CAD/CMM Software are able to simulate the CMM Machine. I'm not quite sure of what you are asking but I use ChckMate from Origin Intl. It uses AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop, can read any CAD format and outputs in a variety of computer languages. I output a DMIS file that is translated to Usoft Code for our Zeiss DB900 CMM.
