Jeff,

I will give you an example from one of my part prints. There is a 7.2 slot width, with a positional tol. as follows, |1.0m|A|B|Cm|. Then the same slot also has a perpendicularity call out of |0.1m|G|. The material thickness of plastic is about 3mm. I do not understand what is really required. I do not believe that it is possible to accurately measure and report this perpendicularity requirement. I would appreciate input from the CMM gurus as to the correct interpretation and implementation of this type of call out. Or is it possible that this is just another engineers' next to-impossible request?

Thanks for your time and input in advance.
