Welcome to the fun world of Mitutoyo. Yes, Mitutoyo does provide two different programs for the US and Canada. Why is anybodies guess. I am not familiar with the Bright Software so I can not help you there. I have been using Mitutoyo CMM's for about 9 years and I first came across the 'Canadian' version when we shipped one CMM from our Canada plant to the US. Watch out for the computer systems also. It seems that the design for computers may be different also. At least the computer that came Down with it was for me.

Other than that, I might be able to help you work around the programming if you are not yet that Experienced. I know it took me a long time to work around some stuff.
