I think you all are putting to much effort
in measuring threaded holes. Most thread positions are not tight tolerance. Simply measure the thread hole with a probe that is
not too small. You can order special probes if want but I have found out the data is close to the same for each. We have been using MMC on threaded holes for over 15 years, and it has never been a problem.
