As we know QS9000 and ISO 9001 are a paperwork nightmare - especially when it comes to work instructions. VDMIS really helps me out with this by eliminating the need for CMM program instructions through the use of Operator messages and Digital photos Inserted in the program. This is a wonderful aid for manual CMM's such as mine. My problem comes once you get familiar with a program, Clicking "OK" to clear these messages and pictures is a real pain, and it cuts down on my inspector productivity.

What I want to do (and would appreciate some help with) is to ask a question (query?) at the beginning of the program (i.e. do you require instructions - Yes or No), and by some means, be it boolean or other, turn on and off the instructions and pictures accordingly.

Any Ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
