Unless you are inspecting parts where 1 micron or better accuracy in positioning is required, then however miniscule the differences between DCC and CNC might be will not matter. Of course, if you are working with that kind of positioning tolerance and accuracy, a CMM is the WRONG!!! machine for your application. It makes absolutely no difference the make. What makes the biggest difference is the accuracy and repeatability of the probing system.
